Podcasts have been around for over twenty years and are still growing in popularity. They have become an important medium for delving deeper into certain themes and reaching a large audience.

Heidi Kamerling, Practor of Green Liveable City at Yuverta, and Laura Roebroeck (Katapult) were among the Dutch CoVE partners who contributed to the Dutch podcast ‘Groenpraat’ , such as this episode about The social values of green spaces.

The partners in the European Platform for Urban Greening have been using podcasts as well for the transfer of knowledge and expertise.

Finding new ways to harness mobility learning, Green Academy in Denmark has focused on ways to offer micro-learning on-the-go. With a new ‘Podcasts Series About Biodiversity, landscapers, gardeners and other green sector workers, can now up-skill while they are travelling from one destination to another. In a profession that often requires a lot of travel to different project locations, the podcast format offers an accessible and engaging way to learn outside of a formal classroom setting. A short test will be offered to provide micro-credentials that can be used in performance reviews or assist in career progression.
