Besides spin-off projects and other initiatives on European platform level, the regional Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) on urban greening also realized a number of spin-offs. Here are some of such initiatives by the CoVE partners in Czechia.

Erasmus+ Project TEAM-UP

ТЕАМ#UP is an Erasmus+ funded project that will mainstream practical knowledge on ecological restoration for Vocational Education and Training (VET) schools and lifelong learners. The vision of TEAM#UP is to create and share knowledge, tools, training, and resources used to practice ecological restoration and make these available on an open educational resource platform. Working with diverse partners from VET, universities, and the private sector, the TEAM#UP project aids in facilitating the transition to a greener and more climate-resilient European society.

The European Nature Restoration Law, as part of the European Biodiversity Strategy for 2030, will include developing National Restoration Plans in EU Member States. To implement national restoration plans for net-positive nature restoration, educational programs, specifically those of Vocational Education and Training (VET) schools, require further and more thorough integration of ecological restoration methods in school curricula. The TEAM#UP project aims to provide this educational material on ecological restoration, working with pilot VET schools across four countries in Europe.
