On the 21st en 22nd of March, Yuverta, together with two other schools, organised ‘WorldCafé’, a community event for everyone studying and working in the green domain.
During this event, students from these three schools presented projects that are linked to the Sustainable Development Goals. The Green Liveable City Hotspot was present with a stand at SDG 11 (sustainable cities and communities), where you could see examples of different applications of urban greenery.
In addition, students and other guests could get creative with Lego to create scale models of their ideal green city. There was also a brainstorming table where green experts discussed the current labor market and how we can best match the educational offering.
The discussion provided good input! The event also included the finals of Skills the Finals, the vocational competitions for pre-vocational and secondary vocational education, where Yuverta won a lot of prizes.
