Green Cities 2030+, the Czech Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) on Urban Greening is one of the partners who are hosting the International Urban Greening Week 2024 from 15-19 April.
Green Smart Cities
Green Smart Cities is the name of this year’s challenge for young gardeners as part of the International City Green Week 2024 in the Czech Republic. Mark the dates 15 – 19 April 2024 in your calendar!
The main topic of this week will be SmartGreen Roofs. We will gain experience from the professionals, discover new technological procedures and possibilities of using recycled materials in the foundation of extensive green areas in urban zones. You can also look forward to excursions on green roofs in Prague.
The student participants will then put their knowledge to good use in the competition part of the week, when they will design a green roof solution.
The event is patronised by the Czech CoVE Zelenamesta2030+ and its members are involved in its organisation.
