In June of 2024, Yuverta will host an international masterclass on biodiversity and ecological greening in Houten, The Netherlands.
Principles of Biodiversity
This masterclass will give you insights into ecological processes and principles of biodiversity that are important for natural green management. This will enable you to make conscious and future-oriented choices for the realisation and management of green.
Learning Outcomes
The learning outcomes of this masterclass are:
→ Learner informs others on the importance and benefits of increasing biodiversity in an urban
environment.
→ Learner advises others on how to take ecological processes and principles of biodiversity into account when designing, managing and maintaining public green spaces.
→ Learner advises others on a practical approach of increasing biodiversity in public green spaces.
→ Learner explains to others how flora and fauna species function in the specific context of the city.
→ Learner advises others on how to make sustainable and future-oriented choices for the realisation, management and maintenance of urban greenery.
Level: EQF level 5 and 6.
