Crossing Borders with Yuverta’s Digital Nomads

2 minute read

In march of 2024, 25 students and 6 supervisors of Yuverta made an inspiring trip through various European countries, with the aim of showing that learning can be done anywhere.

Equipped with a learning guide full of study assignments, their regular school work and personal goals in their backpack, the students worked during the trip on their assignments, while they were also given the opportunity to explore the area.

Learning mobility

Along the way, the students, together with their supervisors, reflected several times on the learning process and the insights they gained.
Keeping up with their schoolwork went very well. The confidence and autonomy given to students to work at their own pace helped them experience less stress and achieve excellent learning outcomes.

“Before this trip, I went to school with a lot of reluctance and stress. I even considered quitting my education. But because of this different way of studying during the Digital Nomads journey, I noticed that this form of education suits me so well. I therefore contacted my coach to see whether I can continue my education in this way after I return to the Netherlands”, said one of the Digital Nomads students.

Education team of the year

The Digital Nomads team has been nominated as education team of the year! A special moment of recognition that Yuverta is building something good, where they (literally) go beyond the beaten track. The team consists of an integral team of teachers and other professionals from various Yuverta locations who all want to show that education can really be done differently!

The Digital Nomads Project shows that this is the kind of education in which you also learn to be yourself, to discover what your abilities are and that learning is so much more than just numbers. It’s all about discovering the world around you and how you relate to it.
