The company Paimed, based in Carlet (Valencia), has unveiled a vertical garden at its facilities with the aim of providing students with a place where they can observe and learn about various urban greening techniques. This project is part of the creation of the Center of Excellence for Urban Greening in Spain (CoVE), with EFA La Malvesía and Projar as founding partners.
The vertical garden has been carefully designed with plants specifically selected for their ability to adapt to this type of wall. It also features a programmed irrigation system to ensure efficient maintenance.
The new green wall not only beautifies Paimed’s facilities and fulfills an aesthetic function but also serves as a key educational resource. Students can visit this space to see firsthand how urban greening practices are implemented, thus contributing to their education in sustainability and urban landscaping. This is a practical opportunity to explore and learn about the implementation of green solutions in urban environments.
