Building a Virtual Learning Environment of Vertical Green

1 minute read

A virtual learning environment for vertical greening will be created during summer and autumn 2023 in The European Platform for Urban Greening project.

In The European Platform for Urban Greening project, we have completed a curriculum for vertical greening, for EQF levels 3 and 4. The next step in an innovative curriculum is a leap into the virtual world.

During the summer, we will create a virtual learning environment for vertical green, with material being filmed in countries such as the Netherlands and Denmark. When completed, the virtual learning environment will serve as a platform for accessing the materials regardless of time and place.

The virtual environment will contain images and videos of different types of vegetation walls, their structures and plants. In addition, there will be activities to introduce the subject and test the learner’s skills.

Such an environment is particularly useful for the theme of vertical green, which is not necessarily accessible at every workplace, especially in terms of its construction phase, structures and layouts.

More about virtual learning environment coming – stay tuned!
