‘New Trends in Urban Greening’ Training Launched

‘New Trends in Urban Greening’ is a newly developed 3- week course for both VET teachers and students, offered by Green Academy in Denmark, one of the Platform partners. The training course was co-developed under the framework of the European Platform for Urban Greening project in close collaboration with project partners from Romania and Finland.

The first participants of the training ‘New Trends in Urban Greening’ included 25 students and 3 teachers from Romania, and 7 students from Finland. This group was soon followed by 22 teachers from Finland, Romania and Italy.

The course was run by teachers from Green Academy, OKNYgaard employees, and two invited external experts. Stephan Gustin shared his expertise on Sustainability and resilience in urban areas, and Jesper Staal explained the latest insights on Green roofs and green walls in the urban environment.
